Learn to Drive or Refresh your skills

Having previously failed my test twice with a different instructor at 17, I was essentially starting from scratch with Mark at 22.

As a result, I now have an understanding of just how different an experience learning to drive can be with a bad instructor vs a good one. 

Mark’s confident and competent teaching guides you through the learning process at a comfortable speed; he is able to recognise the development of a student’s ability, and set the pace of each lesson accordingly. He will not push you unless he knows you’re ready.

From the outset, Mark makes clear that the dynamic of the lessons should be one of trust; he is open and honest about your progress, and expects you to be the same. He is clear and precise with his feedback, and open to questions; leaving little room for confusion.

Most importantly, Mark is really friendly and easy to talk to, which creates the kind of relaxed atmosphere that’s ideal for learning and focusing on the driving - having previously experienced what a tense, uncommunicative learning environment felt like, I can’t tell you how beneficial Mark’s style is.

Having now passed my driving test first time under Mark’s tuition, I think I just wish he’d been teaching when I was 17
